Happy Ending I lay in my bed. Three AM. Tears in my eyes. The outside air from the open window had dried the salty drops that had already fallen down my cheek. All I wanted to do was see Nikkie. To talk to her. To hug her. To lie next to her. I felt hopeless. All I had done was this; think about her. Suddenly… “Knock knock” spoke a soft voice. I turned my head to see Nikkie climbing through my window. I smiled a little, but then went right back to staring at the ceiling. She sat on the bed next to me, sweeping the curls out of my eyes.Happy Ending
